Atlanta Concert Opera is proud to present Berlioz’s Beatrice et Benedict, based off of the timeless Shakespearean classic, Much Ado About Nothing. This rarely heard operatic gem follows the story of Beatrice as she helps prepare her cousin, Hero, to wed Claudio. Meanwhile, Hero, Claudio, and their other friends conspire to trick Beatrice and Claudio’s friend, Benedict, to confront their feelings of love for each other between their epic feuds.

The piece will be performed in French and will last roughly two hours with one fifteen-minute intermission.
